Growing up in a two-bedroom home with a large family and a limited income was challenging, but I’m grateful for the experience in many ways. It nurtured my creativity, making resourcefulness second nature. While my parents focused on putting food on the table and paying the bills, design and decor were seen as luxuries. Yet, I always found ways to make our home feel a bit special and, in my own way, ‘fancy.’
I was always rearranging furniture and décor, constantly striving to make my surroundings feel “just right.” My first true design project was my childhood bedroom, which I decorated with vintage pictures, throw rugs from garage sales, and DIY window coverings. This was where my passion for design first took root.
There are two key motivations behind my work:
Later, when my father moved into a dilapidated Victorian mansion with plans to remodel, I spent weekends with him, envisioning its potential restoration. By the time I was 19, my passion for interior design had fully blossomed, further inspired by visits to I beautifully curated homes in California. Surrounded by inspiration, I knew I wanted to bring that same sense of beauty and
transformative vision to others. This marked the turning point when my passion turned into
a career.
Friends and family often turned to me for help with their homes, and I realized it was time to pursue professional training. In 2010, I launched my own home staging and decorating business, helping realtors stage homes for sale. By 2014, I had already bought, sold, and redesigned several homes, mastering the art of transforming spaces.
Seeking a new challenge, I later transitioned into vacation rental design, creating spaces that guests love to return to. I’ve learned how to design homes that boost bookings and earn five-star reviews. My ability to work within any budget allows me to craft luxurious experiences without breaking the bank.
My mission is to create environments that people love coming home to, whether through staging Homes for sale or designing spaces for everyday living.
